   thanks so much for putting this up- you brought back so many memories- one Christmas eve, we spent it here in this Cathedral- which is so beautiful– I will never forget this Christmas as long as I live—

   La Plaza de toros— My parents took me to a bull fight once there– and I stand it– One of my boyfriends at the time was Eloy Cavazos- the little giant- he was being trained to be a matador– as my parents were good friends with a bullfighter trainer- Raphael Baez-

   I was introduced to Eloy because he was living with Raphael at the time- On one of our dates, we went to the amusement park, and daredevil me, had to go on that roller coaster, but Eloy get on it because he was too afraid— what is with that? He is up against a bull and was afraid to go on a roller coaster?

   Yes- this is the Cathedral where people come from all over, including other of the world, to pray– on their hands and knees- they camp out there- December 12th is a big event there– and I was reminded of this because that day I was at the mini market up the street and Hispanics run this store- so we watched this event together that day–

   When you were in Mexico City, I was following you through the internet- so I read up on the zocalo- I learned the zocalo means base as in plith– the flag was put up in 1821 there- Flag day there is February 24-

   and the zocalo initially was to erect a monument to Independence which was never concluded–

   And the zocalo now has a huge ice rink-
