Description: You WILL need brackets if any of the following conditions are true:

1) New construction
2) If you ripped out old baseboard heaters, including back plates
3) If the old brackets are shorter than 7-1/4"

You will need to purchase 2 brackets (put one at each end) if the baseboard heater cover is less than 5 feet long. If you are purchasing a 5, 6, or 7 foot baseboard heater cover, you will need 3 brackets per unit (put one at each end and one in the middle of the unit).

The wall brackets come with the screw you will need and it is highly recommend to screw the brackets into a stud.
